How do I reserve a weekend? TOP

After checking our calendar for available dates, please call Anne at 269-744-5970 or email athomeanne@sbcglobal.net to reserve your weekend.

When are check in/check out times? TOP

We want you to have plenty of time to scrapbook and still enjoy the amenities!  Check in can be as early as 11 am Friday and check out as late as 6 pm Sunday.

What does the price include? TOP

The price includes lodging, bedding, towels and the use of our scrapbooking and kitchen equipment.

How many women can attend? TOP

We can comfortably accommodate 10-12 women for a weekend.  For 10 women, only the queen size and king size beds will be shared.  For 12 women, the double beds will be shared also.

Do I need to be in a group or can I come by myself? TOP

We think your privacy is important, so we only rent to one group each weekend. It’s up to you if you want to come with just a couple of friends or fill all the beds with twelve.

Since the retreat is unhosted, what do we do for meals? TOP

Most of our croppers set up a meal schedule prior to arrival so that meal duties are shared.  For example, if you are planning six meals for the weekend, you could assign 1-2 people per meal to plan, prepare and handle clean up.  Some groups prepare simple meals like frozen lasagna while others choose to treat themselves by preparing favorites that the kids won’t eat!  How much time you spend in the kitchen is up to you.

What other groups can you accommodate? TOP

We can accommodate most any crafting hobby including rubber stamping and jewelry making.  Creative Memories, Close to My Heart and Stampin’ Up consultants are welcome!

Do you allow alcoholic beverages? TOP

Yes, you are welcome to bring adult beverages for your weekend.

Where do we park? TOP

We have an attached two-car garage for your use plus space for six additional cars in the driveway for a total of eight spaces. 

Is smoking allowed? TOP

Sunset Scrapbook Cottage is a smoke free retreat. Smoking is allowed outside the house.

What if our group needs to cancel? TOP

If your reservation is cancelled more than 3 months prior to your reserved weekend, you will get a full refund of deposit.  If your cancellation is less than 3 months before your reservation, you may transfer your deposit to another available weekend.
